Wirral Cab regularly reviews its services to ensure that the needs of the community remain at the forefront. At the present time we are running the following projects:
Primary Care Advice Liaison, in conjunction with Advocacy in Wirral for NHS, PCT. This allows for an adviser to meet clients referred by their GP in the local surgery. Please note that drop-in clients cannot be seen.
Money Advice on behalf of BIS. This service is for clients with debt problems and whilst it runs from the New Ferry office the advisors are able to deal with appointments at all five of our advice centres.
Advice for ethnic Clients as part of the Third Sector Innovation Fund. This specialist service is primarily to meet the needs of people from the Indian sub continent and Eastern Europe.
The migration Impact Fund will help new migrants to integrate and settle quickly into the Wirral community. Our team will work closely with various groups to develop services to help newcomers deal with cultural issues.
Debt and Housing advice on behalf of Wirral Council Housing Regeneration Initiative. This project is for any person living in a regeneration area of Wirral who faces being re-housed due to new developments.
